Major roadworks near Manchester Airport for 9 months
02.07.08
Manchester Airport has warned passengers that major roadworks on the M60 start on Monday (July 7), and will last for 9 months. They will affect passengers travelling to or from the airport.
The M60 Junction 5 exit slip roads over the A5103, Princess Parkway, will be affected by the roadworks. This junction is a major interchange for traffic heading to Manchester Airport, the M6, M56 and Manchester city centre.
The roadworks will affect Manchester Airport traffic for approximately 9 months from July 7. The airport is advising passengers to 'plan their journey with this in mind' - to allow plenty of extra time, especially during peak travelling hours.
