Jet2 launch Madeira flights

Jet2 launched new flights between Manchester Airport and Funchal, Madeira yesterday. The island, which has recovered from floods suffered earlier this year, has unspoiled beaches, caves, water-sports, shopping and great restaurants ready to welcome tourists.
Portuguese Tourist Office Director Miguel Perestrello said: ‘Madeira is a holiday paradise. We are delighted this new flight from Manchester makes the island even more accessible for passengers in the North West.'
