Airport seeks photos for new 'arrivals experience'
07.03.10
Manchester Airport is inviting members of the public to submit photographs for it to use to create a new 'arrivals experience. It is asking local people to provide photographs of the people and locations of Greater Manchester, which will be exhibited to create a 'sense of place' for passengers as they arrive at the airport. Those that would like to submit their photographs can do so on the Manchester Airport Flickr group, and will see them put on permanent display in the hub's Terminal One.
Sarah Barrett, head of customer experience at Manchester Airport, said: 'We aim to offer a world-class experience for our customers and part of this entails permitting them to tell us what they want to see. As the main gateway to the region we also want visitors arriving at our airport to experience the friendly welcome that the north is traditionally famous for.'
