Private jet use booming

Manchester Airport is increasingly popular with private jet users. NetJets Europe told The Press Association that its volumes at the airport have grown by 20% so far this year, despite the recession.
The firm, which provides fractional ownership of private jets and is owned by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway, said that it expects business to continue to grow this year as more directors chose to fly. Manchester Airport accounted for around 70% of the company's flights from the region last year.
