BMI shuffle Heathrow flights this winter
08.08.09
BMI is to shuffle its schedule between Manchester Airport and Heathrow this winter. The airline says the revised flights will offer more convenient times for customers making onward connections to its flights from the London airport to destinations in the Middle East, such as Beirut and Tel Aviv, or with its Star Alliance partner's flights to the Far East.
From October, BMI will operate 7 daily return flights on the route, including a new mid-morning service from Manchester to Heathrow, departing 10:50 and arriving at midday. The airline's managing director, Peter Spencer, said: ‘The changes allow us to connect perfectly with our flights to Beirut and Tel Aviv at Heathrow, making travel with BMI to the Middle East from Manchester smoother and quicker. They also work well with our Star Alliance partner's onward connections to the Far East.’
