Airport train services have improved over the last year, First Group has said. The company operates the First Trans Pennine Express link to the hub, and said that customer satisfaction was up to 89 percent in its latest survey. In addition, its services to and from Manchester Airport achieved a 92 percent punctuality rate over the year, despite the weather problems in December and January.
First Group increased the number of weekday services to the airport last December to cope with increased passenger demand. And a rise in revenues for the company suggests that more people are using the train link to the hub.
