Finnair to use airport lounge
13.07.10
Finnair has become the first airline to sign up to use the new 'Escape Lounge' at Manchester Airport's Terminal 1.
The new lounge - which was opened earlier this month and includes separate areas for relaxation and business including a self-contained meeting room - is expected to cater for 100,000 passengers each year, mostly on a pay-as-you-go basis by those who choose to pay a fee to escape from the hustle and bustle of the airport.
However, the lounge will also be used by business passengers and qualifying frequent flier members from some airlines who to not have their own lounge at the airport terminal, with Finnair the first to sign such a deal.
