Singapore Airlines will increase its flightsbetween Manchester and SIngapore (via Munich) from five a week to daily from September 1. Flights via Munich using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft started on March 28 after the long standing direct Manchester to Singapore route was axed.
Goh Choon Phong, Singapore Airlines' executive VP regions, said: ‘The fact that we will be operating daily to Munich just 5 months after introducing the new destination is a testament to the popularity of the route. The additional flights will cater to the growing demand of our business and leisure customers travelling to and from both Munich and Manchester.'
Andrew Harrison, Manchester Airport’s commercial director, said: ‘We are delighted that Singapore Airlines has decided to return to a daily service.’
