Jet2 celebrate 20 millionth passenger
15.04.10
Budget airline Jet2 carried its 20 millionth passenger on Tuesday. Keith Moffat and his wife Julia were given VIP treatment after they checked in at Manchester Airport where they were greeted by the airline's managing director Ian Doubtfire and presented with gifts and flight vouchers.
A spokesman for the carrier said the milestone was part of a ‘landmark year’ at Manchester Airport, its second biggest base after its home hub at Leeds Bradford. Jet2 will celebrate its fifth anniversary at the base this year and is set to launch new flights to Venice, Prague, Gran Canaria, Funchal this summer, and to Salzburg this winter.
