Cargo award for Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport has won the 2008 Air Cargo Award of Excellence from readers of Air Cargo World magazine.
The airport beat Athens and Barcelona - who were also shortlisted - to win the prestigious award in the 'Best European airport handling less than 500,000 tonnes of cargo per year' category. It achieved top scores for performance, value, facilities and regulatory operations.
