Airport prepares to launch new T1 check in area
20.05.08
Manchester Airport has released the details of its Terminal 1 (T1) ground level check-in procedures. From May 28 passengers flying with airlines using the terminal, including Aer Arann, Air Berlin, Lufthansa and Swiss will be able to use the check-in facility, which is accessible via passenger lifts stopping at level 0.
The changes are part of a £35 million redevelopment project at T1. Last week, a £10m security area with new X-ray machines, vapour-testing facilities, extra security lanes and more staff was opened.
