Airport launches free iPhone app

Manchester Airport has has launched a free iPhone app(lication) for passengers that can be downloaded from the Apple Store. The app allows passengers to explore the terminals using an interactive map, get directions to the airport, and receive real-time information on arrivals and departures.
A spokesman said the app is intended to save passengers time and money. He said: ‘The next step is to see if passengers can begin to use it to book services they want from the airport.’ [If they cannot the airport wasted time and money !]
