Monarch announce Gibraltar flights

Monarch Airlines has announced the return of its flights between Manchester Airport and Gibraltar. The route, which it withdrew in July 2006, will operate 3 times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - from September 12.
Liz Savage, managing director of Monarch's scheduled services, said: ‘We are delighted to be bringing direct flights to Gibraltar back to the Northwest. There is a huge demand for flights from our customers and this has been reflected by the number of requests we have received over the past few years.’
