23.09.09
The boss of airline Jet2 was warned by police after he launched a tirade at his own staff when he saw passengers in a long queue at Manchester Airport, the Evening News reports. As he berated his own check-in workers, police arrived in and warned him about his angry outburst – even though he was being applauded by the frustrated passengers.
Jet2 chief executive Philip Meeson blasted his check-in staff when he saw a long queue during an early-morning ‘spot-check’ at Terminal 1. He blamed workers for not getting the queue moving – and was applauded by the passengers for his outburst. But police officers at the airport arrived and warned him about his conduct and behaviour under the Public Order Act after receiving a complaint of an angry man at check-in.
